How to make childish bedding grow up?

Hi everyone. My family and I are moving to a new home. I have a pbteen patchwork bedspread that is very colorful and I really like it. It's not technically childish, but after watching HGTV alot(:, I really like the more creative, candle, serene atmosphere. I really like the feel of candles and cozy lighting. I also want to keep my bedspread. Is there a way to incorporate both of these atmospheres into one? Please give me any ideas. My parents would probably let me get another cheap bedspread, but I just feel bad wasting my old one. And it would look kinda wierd in a guest bedroom because it is so "teen", so to say! Thanks!
