Pubic shaving (guys)?

Hey I trim my privates and bottom, but I was wondering, have any straight guys out there tried getting their pubic hair/bottom professionally waxed? I am straight, so I am a little worried it would seem gay but I am tired of constantly having to shave. Also, if I was to try waxing, I would probably ask for a male. It seems embarrassing to have a female that is not my girlfriend or wife to see my privates. However I really don't like guys messing with my junk unless I am at the doctors. any suggestions?
